5 ways To Wear Pigments

Younique Moodstruck Mineral Pigments are loose powder that comes in a small box and can be used in multiple ways, they are 100% natural, chemical-free, mineral-based pigment powders, free of talc, oils, preservatives, perfumes, synthetic dyes, and parabens.
Here are 5 different ways to wear them:

  • Pop of shimmer on the eyes: use the pigment to add a pop of shimmer on the eyes, especially if you're in a hurry, just dab a Deluxe Brush or the ring finger on your pigment of choice and pad on your lid;
  • Use it on the cheeks for a shimmery glow, as a highlighter. You can also use it to highlight the inner corner of your eyes and brow bone;
  • Mix your favorite pigment with a clear lip gloss to create a custom color. The possibilities are endless;
  • Use it as an eyeliner: just mix it with a 2 drops of Rose Water and clear lip gloss (to create the gel texture) and create a custom eyeliner to be used with the Liner brush.
  • Use it on the hair as a shine spray: on an empty spray bottle use a half measure of Rose Water and another half measure of water, or a fixing spray product, like gel spray, and add your pigment of choice, as much as you like (depending on the effect you want). Shake it very well and spray your hair.

Homemade Mask For Dry Hands

If you usually have dry and dehydrated hands, try to prepare and apply this mask once a week.
Will need:

  • 1egg yolk;
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice;
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (or coconut oil in liquid form)

Mix the yolk with a little lemon juice and then add the oil. Beat it well with a fork until it forms a kind of mayonnaise. Then place the product generously on both hands, layered leaving it to act for about 15 minutes.

After this time (you can even leave more time without any problem), remove the remnants of the mask with the help of warm water. Finish it by applying a specific hand moisturizer with a gentle massage.

And of course, do your makeup as usual, so you feel much more confident through the day or night ;)

Makeup tip: Kim Kardashian Green Eye Makeup

Kim Kardashian always wears a lot of makeup, that's a given. Coutouring, highlighting, and false lashes are her signature makeup look, and she's not afraid of heavy eye makeup and strong lip colors all together.
But once in a while Kim steps a little bit out of her comfort zone and brings something different, like this bright green eyes, which is a perfect look for Spring!
Besides the black liquid eyeliner, Kim wears 3 shades in her eyes, and it's really easy to re-create with Younique's Moodstruck Mineral Pigments.
The crease tone is a warm light brown, like Beautiful. On the outer lid, the darker green, like Famous, then blended with a lighter and shimmery shade, like Empowered in the inner corner of the lid. As usual, the key is to blend the colors as much as possible, for a natural effect.
These colors work pretty well with hazel and brown eyes.

Makeup tip: swoosh of glitter eyeliner

This is a quick tip to revamp a smoky eye, or winged eyeliner look, which will totally boost and bright your makeup, especially for a party or night out.
Simply grab a liner brush, dab it into Rose Water, and get your favorite pigment from the Moodstruck Minerals from Younique, as they have absolutely gorgeous colors, like Heartbroken, Confident, Daring, Awestruck or Regal (our favorite shades) and cover the eyeliner with it. You can make it more or less intense, according to your personal taste.
Extra tip: don't damp the brush into the Rose Water too much, just a little bit to make the pigment more intense, or else you will risk smudging the eyeliner.

Quick tip: Glittery Lips

Saturday night, party time!
Here's a quick tip that will definitely boost up your party look for the weekend. It's sort of a daring look for daytime, but will look gorgeous at night and it's really quick and simple!

Start by applying a creamy lipstick, in your favorite shade. Creamy formulas are better than dry formulas because they will hold the glitter particles much better than a drier one.

With the crease brush by Younique, dab it into a Mineral pigment, like the Moodstruck Mineral Pigments by Younique in the shades Feisty or Curious, depending on the lipstick color you chose.

Apply the pigment as much as you'd like, for a more dramatic effect apply more pigment, if you just want a sheer glitter effect, just apply less.

And voilà!

Homemade Banana Mask

The homemade tip this weekend is aimed at those who want to improve the appearance of their skin, making it radiant. Therefore, it adapts to any skin type, of all ages.
To prepare, take note of what you will need: a banana (full of vitamins and anti-aging), a spoonful of honey (helps keep the moisture level of the skin) and 5 drops of lemon juice (with an exfoliating action helps to remove dead cells).
After peeling the banana, mash it and mix it with honey and lemon juice. Apply the mixture to your face, previously cleaned and free from impurities. Do it at night before going to bed. Leave the mask to act for about 15 minutes and then wipe the skin with warm water. Then apply your usual moisturizer, like the Younique Brilliant Daily Moisturizing Gel , a rich and restorative facial moisturizer that is formulated to leave the skin hydrated, energized, and healthy as it nourishes the skin with powerful ingredients.
