Time Saving Hairstyles for College Going Women

Learning how to make some really great time saving hairstyles should be a top priority for any working woman or college going student. There are just so many days you end up waking late for school and so, you need a ‘do that can be made within minutes and looks ultra-chic at the same time.

The Messy Hair Bun
To achieve this look, you just need some bobby pins, a scrunch or an elastic band to hold your hair. There are many variations of this hairstyle. For example, you can have your hair piled up at the top of your head to show off your long slender neck, or you can choose to make a bun at the nape of your neck.
All you have to do now is to tie your hair in a ponytail, and then twist it around in a circular motion and secure with bobby pins. One of the tricks that should be incorporated over here is to let some stray locks loose out of the bun. This tactic gives your hairstyle a sexy carefree look, and does away with any severe appearance.

Wild Waves
Do you have long hair that takes ages to curl using a hot iron rod? Is the hour long early morning routine involving lots of heat damage starting to get to you? Sometimes, we just don’t have that much time – or hair product - to make those perfect ringlets or smooth waves. Well, why not try a sexier alternative?

You can achieve this look with a simple time saving technique. You need to start off with towel dried hair divided into sections. The hair should be just slightly damp – NOT wet. Apply a bit of face primer to the ends to prevent split ends and moisturize the locks. Yes, it really works! Then, just braid each section of your hair and tie the ends with elastic bands. Preferably, you should just sleep with the hair still braided and open the braids in the morning. However, if you’re in a rush, use a blow-dryer till you can feel the hair has become absolutely dry.

If you want tighter waves, then just divide your hair into a larger number of sections and braid your hair more finely. The result: Wavy tresses that are high on volume.
